Haiti had some hard times with hurricane Dennis. Lots of houses were destroyed in the south. In an area called Grand Goave there were a great number of deaths when a bridge fell off.
The news about Haiti is really bad, though the government is doing what is expected to be done. The country needs prayer in all aspects. Kidnappers are working harder than ever. There is not a single day when there have not been three or four kidnappings. We praise the Lord for our safety.
I still have not bought the vehicle. The money is in the bank ready to be used for this purpose as soon as the situation gets better.
The church attendance has been around 600 for several months now. I think it's steady. The youth are having two weeks of revival starting this coming Sunday evening. The country-side churches are doing fine and growing in spite of the terrible political situation.
Yours in Christ, Eddy Bazin.
