Renold Jean-Claude Bazin appreciates all that his friends have done to help with his dream of winning souls to Jesus in Haiti and helping many through both the church and the school
he began and now leads.
He was born in Cap-Haitian, Haiti on 11/15/1952. Early on, he was given the nickname “Eddy” (which means “strong” in their language), and by his U.S. friends is normally called Eddy Bazin. When Eddy was four years of age, his father died. His mother died in 1970 as Eddy was preparing to graduate from St. Ilus Dufresne High School in Cap-Haitian.
Eddy graduated from Emmaus Professional Bible College in Cap-Haitian in 1975, and attended Cap-Haitian School of Law the next year. Studies at Ozark Christian College in Joplin, Missouri began in 1980 after Eddy had preached in Haiti for five years. By the spring of 1984 Eddy had earned the Bachelor of Biblical Literature (BBL) degree at OCC. In December of that year, he returned to Haiti to preach. His work was then called Port-au-Prince Christian Mission, but now he prefers the PCM to stand for Preaching Christ to the Multitudes.
